About

Andrew Tricaso is an multidisciplinary artist based in Chicago. His work favors interpretation over explanation. Through video, photography, collage, painting, graphic design and sound, Tricaso explores what he sees around him and what is organically expressed through experimentation. Tricaso’s work can be psychedelic, abstract and colorful but he does not like to limit himself to any particular style.

Originally from Akron, Ohio Andrew moved to Chicago in 2014 to attend Columbia College Chicago where he received a degree in Cinema Arts & Science. While attending school, Tricaso began to explore other ways of expression including music, painting, collage and graphic design. The last several years Tricaso has worked to find his voice as an artist. He has released 3 experimental ambient albums since 2018 under the name “Dog Does Tricks” and has made album artwork for artists like Harris Cole, Allem Iversom, Hue Honey, ASO, SwuM and more.
